Bank of America makes $40,000 contribution in support of NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire’s Foreclosure Seminars

NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire has received a $40,000 â€‹grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation in support of home foreclosure educational services.  The grant will specifically support the Foreclosure Prevention and Intervention Seminars of HOMEteam New Hampshire, a collaboration between NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire and CATCH Neighborhood Housing Services. These free seminars provide guidance and counseling assistance to homeowners in danger of losing their homes to foreclosure.

Held on the first, third and fourth Tuesday of each month in Manchester, Nashua and Concord, respectively, the seminars provide guidance to homeowners seeking to avoid foreclosure or navigate through an often stressful process.  The grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation assures the continuation of these free programs, and provides an invaluable service to residents dealing with foreclosure or the possibility of foreclosure.

“We are very grateful for the continued financial support of Bank of America in continuation of this program,” stated Robert Tourigny, Executive Director of NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire. “Many homeowners still face very difficult situations and these seminars provide information troubled homeowners need so they can determine the direction they should take and arrive at the best possible solution for their situation,” continued Tourigny.
