Northway Bank recently donated $2,500 to NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire in support of HOMEteam as part of the Bank’s commitment to giving back to the community. This grant will help support the pre-purchase and post-purchase educational and counseling services provided by HOMEteam in central and southern New Hampshire.
“We are grateful for the financial support from our partners at Northway Bank, and we look forward to collaborating with volunteers at the Bank,” said Paul McLaughlin, HOMEteam Manager. “The Bank’s staff is committed, passionate and knowledgeable. The generous financial support provided by Northway Bank helps to ensure the availability of quality homeownership and financial literacy education and counseling services in the state.”
HOMEteam, a collaboration between NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire, CATCH Neighborhood Housing and Laconia Area Community Land Trust provides the seamless delivery of a comprehensive menu of homeownership and financial literacy services. The collaboration allows residents to take advantage of a series of educational workshops and one-on-one counseling related to housing, such as navigating the mortgage process for first time home buyers, saving for the purchase of a home, and preserving and protecting an investment in a home, in a number of New Hampshire communities.
